You Say

Original Oil over Mixed Media
by Christine Cloutier

You Say is an original oil over mixed media painting by Christine Cloutier, inspired by the powerful message of Lauren Daigle's You Say. Filled with luminous golds, warm earth tones, and expressive textures, the portrait captures a woman whose radiant smile reflects a deep and unshakable confidence. Her gaze is lifted with hope and joy, revealing the quiet strength of someone who has discovered her true identity—not through the changing opinions of the world, but through the enduring truth spoken over her life.

More than a portrait, You Say is a declaration over doubt, fear, and insecurity. It reminds us that we are not defined by our failures, circumstances, or the voices that seek to diminish us. Instead, we are loved, we are enough, and we belong. Christine's expressive brushwork and layered mixed media create a sense of warmth and light that invites viewers to silence the noise of everyday life and rediscover the voice that never wavers. The result is an uplifting and deeply personal work that celebrates faith, resilience, self-worth, and the freedom that comes from embracing who we were created to be.
