Purpowl

Original Acrylic on Canvas
by Jordan Perkins

Bold, mysterious, and undeniably captivating, Purpowl showcases Jordan Perkins' remarkable ability to transform wildlife into contemporary fine art. This striking portrait celebrates the quiet confidence and watchful presence of the owl, a timeless symbol of wisdom, intuition, and strength.

Drenched in luxurious shades of violet and accented with brilliant gold, the composition radiates energy while maintaining an air of calm authority. The owl's piercing amber eyes immediately command attention, drawing the viewer into a silent conversation that feels both powerful and deeply personal. Rich palette knife textures, expressive brushwork, and intricate feather details create extraordinary depth, allowing the painting to change with the light and reveal new details with every viewing.

The bold contrast between vibrant purples and luminous gold gives Purpowl a modern elegance that elevates the traditional wildlife portrait. Equal parts realism and artistic expression, the piece balances softness with strength, making it a dramatic focal point that complements both contemporary and classic interiors.

Measuring an impressive 48" x 48", Purpowl is designed to make a statement. Whether displayed in a sophisticated home, executive office, luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or curated art collection, it brings a sense of intelligence, beauty, and quiet confidence to the space.

Jordan Perkins has earned recognition for his expressive style that blends vivid colour, bold texture, and emotional storytelling. His distinctive approach captures the personality and spirit of his subjects while inviting viewers to experience familiar wildlife through an exciting contemporary lens.
