Morning Glory

Original Acrylic
by Carole Herbaut

Morning Glory in Peachland captures the breathtaking beauty of dawn breaking over Okanagan Lake, where the first light of day transforms the landscape into a radiant display of colour and serenity. Carole Herbaut masterfully portrays the sun emerging through dramatic clouds, casting brilliant reflections across the still waters and illuminating the surrounding hills with a warm, golden glow.

Rich oranges, soft blues, and luminous highlights create a striking contrast between light and shadow, evoking the peaceful stillness that accompanies an Okanagan sunrise. Herbaut's expressive brushwork brings movement and atmosphere to the sky, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the fleeting beauty of a new day.

Inspired by the natural splendour of Peachland, Morning Glory in Peachland celebrates renewal, hope, and the enduring connection between nature and the human spirit. This captivating work brings warmth, tranquility, and the timeless beauty of the Okanagan into any home or collection.
