Mates II continues the intimate portrait of paired waterfowl, rendered with the same decorative toile-inspired border and quiet, companionable mood as its counterpart. Together the two pieces form a natural set, each capturing its own small moment of connection on calm water.
Finished to match its companion in a black beaded frame with a deckled floating edge, Mates II is designed to be displayed together with Mates I or mixed into a broader gallery wall. Its charming, collected style suits traditional and cottage-inspired interiors especially well. A fitting choice for collectors who love small-format art with sentimental warmth.
