Entanglement
By Daniel Dearborn
Acrylic on Canvas
48″ × 60″
Inspired by the remarkable beauty of Okanagan Lake, Entanglement captures a quiet and contemplative moment at the close of a wonderful day. As the sun begins to rest beyond the water, its lingering light settles across the landscape, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, stillness and reflection.
The branches weave and overlap across the composition, naturally framing the lake beyond. Their twisting forms create a beautiful sense of movement and connection, guiding the viewer’s eye through the painting while revealing glimpses of water, sky and fading sunlight.
The title Entanglement speaks not only to the interwoven branches, but also to the deep relationship between land, water, light and those who call the Okanagan home. Each element is connected, becoming part of a larger and constantly changing landscape.
Created by celebrated local artist Daniel Dearborn, this generously sized 48″ × 60″ acrylic painting has an impressive presence. Its scale, rich atmosphere and unmistakable Okanagan inspiration make it a striking statement piece for a home, office, hotel, restaurant or contemporary gathering space.
Peaceful yet visually compelling, Entanglement invites the viewer to pause and look beyond the branches—to remember the warmth of the setting sun, the quiet beauty of the lake and the feeling of a perfect Okanagan day slowly coming to an end.
